First Western Canadian Seminar bears fruits of salvation

The first Western Canadian Seminar held at Maranatha Christian Church in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on June 15th, was a great spiritual feast, drawing attendees from around the globe. The event featured lessons on Salvation, Baptism with the Holy Spirit, How to Hear the Voice of the Lord through Prayers, and the Living Word.

Pastor Rodrigo França, reflecting on the seminar's fruits, described it as a joyous occasion marked by numerous baptisms with the Holy Spirit and several conversions. "We even had a Muslim visitor who accepted Jesus as his Savior," he shared. "We leave this seminar filled with the grace of the Lord."

Members from churches in Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver flew to Winnipeg for the seminar, joined by visitors from countries including Kenya, Nigeria, Cameroon, Congo, Egypt, India, South Korea, Germany, and Canada.

Pastor Cesario Sousa, the coordinator for the Canadian region, emphasized the seminar’s significance for Winnipeg, noting, "People have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior and they are starting a wonderful journey in His presence." He added, "The seminar has left a mark on the city, and we look forward to the next one."

Testimonies

Laban Eskeros, pastor and missionary from Egypt, representing another denomination, expressed his experience, saying, “I thank God very much for this seminar. I found the biblical teaching very solid. The atmosphere and the communion was lovely”.

Similarly, Pastor Ivan Keller from another denomination in Russia remarked on the profound presence of the Holy Spirit during the seminar. "I am overjoyed to have been part of this event. Glory to the Holy Spirit for revealing Christ to each of us," he said. "Through this revelation, we gather to pray, glorify, and receive revelations from the Lord and this is what we need”, he completed.

Throughout the day, Children and Intermediates received teachings from the Word of God, participated in special activities and rehearsed praise songs. Following the seminar, there was a supper service the next day.

The pastors present at the seminar included Cesario Sousa, Rodrigo França, Adonias Guilherme, Renato Costa, and Sérgio Da Silva. From the United States, pastors Donald Pelto and Humberto Henriques also joined the spiritual feast.
